The Parish Council meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in the ClayTAWC Centre.All meetings start at 7 p.m. and the public are very welcome to attend.There is a regular agenda item of 10 minutes duration when members of the public may speak and raise their particular concerns.
Notes from
the Parish Council Meeting held on the 9th March
2010.
a) PC Humphries reported that there had been 6 reported crimes compared to 13 for the same period in 2009.Police Community Support Officer Caroline McRobbie has started work in St Dennis and is being introduced around the Parish by PC Humphries.
b) The Council has fixed the date for the Annual Parish Meeting as Tuesday 27th April at 7.p.m. in the ClayTAWC Centre and it is hoped that an officer from the Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service will be speaking.
c) The Parish Plan Committee has completed the Parish Plan for St Dennis Parish and there will be an opportunity for the public to view the Plan in the ClayTAWC Centre and ask questions about it.
d) The first meeting of the Skateboard Working Party has been held.The Working Party which includes young people will be looking at the feasibility of providing a skateboard facility in the village.
e) The Council had written to both Imerys Ltd and Goonvean Ltd, seeking their assistance in preventing large articulated vehicles entering the village.Both Companies have replied and agreed to do all they can to prevent this.In addition Cornwall Council will be providing a sign at Domellick Corner advising lorries not to use Carne Hill and the Parish Council will be talking to Cornwall Council regarding the type of sign required.

Goonvean Ltd
has reported that a large number of youngsters are trespassing at
Parkandillick and the Clay Pits. The youngsters are causing a lot of damage
but also accessing moving plant and equipment at great danger to themselves.
Parents are advised to warn their children not to trespass on the
Parkandillick site or the Clay Pits and avoid the possibility of a serious
accident.
